[ When Barnaby picks up the phone, the video feed will be activated on her end. Don't mind that her bangs are multicolored (not that she knows, she's only seen the green). ]

Hi, Mr. Barnaby? I'm sorry I'm waking you up so early.

[Did she do something to her hair? It's a good thing Barnaby still has sleeping trouble; he's wide awake. And a little concerned.]

It's alright; I was already up. What's going on, Kaede?

[ She feels so much better seeing that he is awake and totally aware of things right now, because she still isn't. She tries to play it cool and calm, but her words tumble out a tad faster than she would have liked. ]

Well, I heard my dad yelling my name and to help him, but there was a raccoon in his room and he wasn't when I went to him. And the raccoon is talking and saying it's my dad. I need to make sure I'm not dreaming.

[ The camera will move off of her to the raccoon at her feet who is yelling about being ignored. ]

The raccoon... is talking?

[His stare hardens for a moment, and he watches as the view switches from her to the pet. Poor Kaede, she must be panicking... He imagines he would be too, if he woke up with that.

...I can assure you, Kaede. You're not dreaming. Let me write a quick note for Prez and then I'll be right over.
