[Does he not remember? It sounds like he doesn't remember. Time to keep shouting.]

Bunny, which house are you in front of?! I'll go get you! Are you okay?! Don't go anywhere and just stay right there!

[Lots of fumbling and commotion on the other end of the phone-- and then a yelp followed by a thump. Sounds like Kotetsu just fell over.]

[Barnaby sighs. Kotetsu, you're too damn loud for this early in the morn... afternoon?]

Kotetsu, please calm down! I'm fine, but--well. I imagine I am? I'm... at the hospital. I found an envelope at the bedside table... [He just groans.] When can we return to Sternbild? This place is too frustrating for words.

[LOUD FRETTING INTENSIFIES]

You can't tell me to calm down and then say you're in the hospital!! I'm coming over right now! We'll talk about everything else later, first I've gotta go pick you up!

You don't need to pick me up, I know how to get back!

[He just moves the phone further away. Kotetsu, you're giving him a headache.]

Just... meet me in town square. I'm making my way over. I'm not injured, I just... Honestly, I'm not even certain why I'm here.

Bunny...

[It sounds almost like a whine, but it's also somewhat of a demand. He knows of Barnaby's habit of keeping things from him (ironic considering it's one of his own major flaws as well), so if he's just trying to avoid him because he wants to keep up a tough heroic exterior, then Kotetsu could care less about listening to him right now.

But they're not partners for nothing. He's had faith in him for years, and he truly wants to believe that he's alright. Barnaby sounds more confused than anything else, and if he were hurt, at least he's at a place where he'd be safe and could get the help he needs.

After a long moment of silence, Kotetsu finally concedes defeat, but he sure doesn't look happy about it.]

Okay. I'll meet you there. But if I don't see you in at least an hour then I'm gonna get John to sniff you out.

[Barnaby just sighs again. He can already hear Kotetsu's struggle, ad while he wishes he could do more to assure his partner that he's fine, the fact that he himself isn't even certain bothers him. He doesn't want to lie to Kotetsu... but he doesn't know what to say about this. So instead, he opts for ignoring the worry, though he's immensely relieved when Kotetsu doesn't push it further.

The less time at this hospital, the better. He'll just let himself out.]
