Hello. I have an inquiry for you, if anyone might know the answer. Despite being here for a few months, I've been unable to discover one.

What exactly are the badges for? Outside of the new label of 'champion', do they serve any purpose?

Well some of them let pokemon learn moves they wouldn't be able to normally. And you do get some money for them.

Also since the society revolves around pokemon fighting, it's probably a mark of status as well.

You'd have to ask someone who battles more. However they do it, having a badge allows the pokemon to learn a move.

It's utterly insane. I've been here for about three years and I'm still not used to it.

I think so.

Like I said I'm still not used to the craziness. But I suppose I'm less surprised by it then I used to be.
